Tim Haahs from Pennsylvania, US, spoke about innovation and progression in parking design, specifically in the designing of parking structures not just to house cars, but built with the aim of attracting people.
Peter Guest from the UK spoke on the innovations in parking technology in Europe, including the development of the parking meter, the use of mobile phone technology, database automation and management, and license plate recognition.
