City of Perth’s proposed fees will range from $1.90 an
hour at Heirisson Island to $3 an hour at John Oldham Park and apply from Monday
to Friday between 8am and 6pm, to ensure that commuters and city workers do not
use the facilities for all day car parking. These car parks were conveniently
located for park and ride purposes by commuters parking there for free and then
catching the CAT bus to Perth CBD.
